This 30 minute assembly programme was created for an upper primary audience but will also play well to secondary. It consists of three stories

  • Tongue Meat (with a very short story about gratitude in a post-story reflection)
  • The Wooden Sword: this is a long (19 minute) story – one of my top three favourites! – about compassion the importance of faith. No particular faith is promoted however, though the ‘hero’ (the man who is tested) turns out to be Muslim.
  • The Road to Lhasa – a short 5 minute journey-tale about perseverance told uniquely with animated tangrams!

The entire assembly runs 34 minutes
