Baby Frog and Baby Snake innocently become friends – but their mothers angrily refuse to allow it. An entertaining fable with a powerful message.  As I point out in the REFLECTION afterwards, this is not a story about frogs but about prejudice. Compare the bi-lingual version of this story (RJE475) with Abby Lai Ka Hei as Baby Snake speaking in Mandarin to my Baby Frog.  We have great fun dramatising the interactions between the ‘kids’ and their parents (I play Daddy Snake). The repetitive structure of this story makes following the Mandarin quite straightforward for the non-Mandarin speaker.
