“Why wait for a rabbit to run into a tree?” is a famous Chinese proverb. What does it mean – and what is the story behind it? Roger teams up with the animated Abby Lai to dramatise the story of a lazy farmer who found a rabbit that had run into a tree. The two characters are clearly presented and the lively dialogue makes it very easy to follow the story. Subtitles for the Mandarin and English. Originally commissioned by the Singapore Writers Festival 2020
